⭐http://ieltsbandup.com/ ↪ for all the videos ✔️ Linking words, connecting words, transition words, conjunctions, discourse markers for IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, TOEIC. Whatever you call linking words, and whichever proficiency test you are taking, these linking words are extremely important. Linking words greatly improve your reading and speaking ability; at the same time, making you a more interesting speaker, and a much better writer. I used the IELTS scoring to show how, but very similar scoring is used for TOEFL, PTE, and TOEIC. All tests place a lot of importance on these linking words for your test success. This video focusses on ‘BUT' and knowing and using synonyms for this word. This will raise your English score for reading, listening, speaking, and writing for all English proficiency tests. All languages use linking words to connect, change, and/or explain ideas. That’s why knowing synonyms for linking words and how different linking words are used is so vital for understanding reading and listening texts. It is much easier to answer questions when you know when one topic ends and the next begins. Additionally, to do well on speaking and writing tests, you cannot just use; and, but, so, and because. You must use synonyms for these words accurately to receive a good score. Whether you are preparing for IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or TOEIC, get a pen and some paper to start making your own examples. I also recommend that you focus on your pronunciation for linking words. For each linking word or phrase, I will also teach pronunciation. To improve your listening, you need to know how these words sound and when and where they are stressed. And for speaking, you need to pronounce these words accurately to raise your fluency and pronunciation score. This and the other four videos will be the most useful for improving your overall IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or TOEIC score. It gives me great pleasure knowing how many people this and the other four videos will help. And I wish you the best of luck on your next English test.
