Description:
Higher PPI- pixel per inch on smartphone leads to better clarity and detailing on screen resolution. With smartphone manufacturer rolling out phones with 400 or more PPI, it becomes important for user to know whether one really needs higher PPI. While watching content on smartphone one can differentiate between HD & Full HD resolution but it becomes hard to differentiate between QHD and 4k because mobile phone screen size is too small for any such distinction. It’s difficult for human eyes to differentiate beyond 300 PPI: http://www.ubergizmo.com/what-is/ppi-pixels-per-inch/ My personal recommendation is that one should not bother a lot about screen resolution. It’s quite decent to go for 1080P screen resolution. If you are looking at using a VR headset then i will recommend you to go for high PPi on your smartphone as that will enhance your viewing experience. Tutorial also explains: -Resolution of video recording and screen resolution are two different things. -Aspect ratio overview. Higher the resolution greater will be the PPI. You can also calculate PPI if you know screen size and resolution: we need to use pythagoras theorem Example below - Screen size 5.2 inch - Resolution - 1080 X 1920p 1080 X 1080 + 1920 X 1920 = 1166400 + 3686400 = 4852800 Square root of 4852800 = 2202.907 Above figure divided by 5.2 - screen size We get PPI - 424. Same way one can calculate Pixel per inch if you know screen size and resolution. ………………………………………………………………… About the creator of this video: Harish Bali loves to make tutorials on use of Technology in day today life.
