How to automatically create your SRT Files | Tutorial

We'll simply hop over to VEED.IO. You can create an account for free. Click on the first link in the description to go straight to the website.

Once you're on the homepage, click on Upload Your Video. Then you click on Upload A File. Then select your video clip and click on Open. Now your video is imported into Veed's online video editor.

Before we create an SRT file, we have to transcribe the video first. Simply click on Subtitles on the left-hand side. Next, click on Auto Transcribe. Select the language you speak in your video and click on Start.

After a short moment, your video will have subtitles. You can easily edit the text and timeline positions of your subtitles, if necessary. These changes will be integrated into your upcoming SRT file, so it's important to check this.

Simply change the words in the text boxes on the left-hand side. You can also easily click, drag, extend, and shorten the subtitles bars on the bottom timeline to your liking.

Finally, to create an SRT file, hop over to Options, and under [Download Subtitles], make sure SRT Format is selected.

Click on the download button next to it. Now you created and downloaded the SRT file straight to your computer.
