In this video I will show you 5 tips for making videos for your online courses. These are easy to follow little tips which will enhance student engagement in your courses which is the key to success in online teaching. The first tip is that you must get hold of a high quality microphone and make sure that the sound quality of your videos is excellent. Our ears are more sensitive than eyes and therefore we can not tolerate bad audio.
The second tip is that you must keep your video short. Student has less attention span in online learning. The recommended maximum length of an educational video is 5 to 7 minutes.
Then the next tip is that you must put your face in the video. Also put minimum text and simple images in your videos. Finally you must ask your students to take inside your video.
