Description:
In this video I give you 12 tips how to save birds. A study was recently published in the journal Science that estimated that almost 30% of North America's abundance of birds has declined (3 billion birds lost). Some of the causes include: habitat destruction and fragmentation, predation by domestic and feral cats, pesticides, pollution, collisions with buildings, and climate change. This is extremely sad, and I was motivated to make this video to spread awareness on how we can fight back and save not only the birds but the rest of the natural world--and for that matter, our own environmental destruction. I hope you enjoy the video and use some of these tips to help save our feathered friends that are essential to our own wellbeing. *Many of the clips in the video are stock footage I borrowed from a free website, and have species from all over the world (not just North America). Because these tips are useful for anyone anywhere in the world, I figured I would use birds from all over the world.
