These APUs will be built on the current Zen 4 architecture -- joining it with Vega CUs. The R7 5700G, 5700GE, R5 5600G & 5600GE, and R3 5300G & 5300GE are all available to AMD’s OEM and system integrator partners today. AMD has also announced that these will be available to consumers later this year. All three variants will have “G” and “GE” models, with the GE model having a reduced base clock and TDP. This is also the first official announcement of a Zen 3 CPU that slots in under the 5600X, with the 5300G landing there. These are technically APUs, so we’re still waiting for a non-X AMD Ryzen 5 5600, R9 5900, or R7 5700, but it’s a start. These will compete with the Intel IGPs, which we benchmarked recently (see above link). The Intel 11-series Rocket Lake CPUs are particularly noteworthy competitors in graphics. Like our content?
