21 Days to Awesome The Ultimate Freedom Hacks to get You from Uninspired Loser to Motivated Machine in 21 Days Below is a list of simple actions you can take over the next 21 days to start taking control of your life, get you out of a rut and get your life on track. This is just the start. This is just the beginning of your transformation. It's time to start building some inspiration, freedom and success into your lifestyle. By going through these 21 steps, you join The Lifestyle Compound community (join the FREE Facebook group here) of freedom seeking, success driven individuals. Individuals that have found that there is another lifestyle out there. No more will you let life happen to you. Now you will make life happen. This is just the start... Day 1) Plan Your Ultimate Day The best exercise on the way to your new life is planning your ultimate day. This is one of my favourite exercises, I remember when I first did it and it was about 3 pages long! So to do this you really need to go down to the minute details and think about how your ultimate lifestyle would look and then nail that down to one day. Let your imagination go wild and DON'T worry about how you will do this for now or how much it would cost. Just dream. It's important to get very specific. You can narrow these down far more to make it even more clear to you what your vision is. Start with these points and you can grow it from there: • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • When do you wake up? Who do you wake up with? Where do you wake up? What's the first thing you think of? What do you see out your window? What do you do in the first hour of waking? What do you have for breakfast? What do you do next? Some 'passion' work? Fun pastime activity? Workout? Meet up with someone? Where do you work from? Do you do any 'work'? What is the view from where you work? What do you eat for lunch? What does your bank account look like? How much money do you earn per month? How do you make your money? How much do you give away? How do you help other people? Who do you see to socialise with today? What else do you do for fun or work? What car do you own? What is your favourite piece of clothing? What do you do in the evening? What do you eat for dinner? Does someone else make it for you? What do you do to relax at the end of a day? Day 2) Plan your goals You would be surprised how few people actually write their goals down and plan out what they want from life. But not you. You are going to figure out what your goals are for the next week, month, year and 5 years. (You can even go out to 20 years. It is up to you, for me I have long term goals but only concentrate on the one month in front of me.) So take out a pen and pad or a new document on your computer and start planning out your goals. Set it out however you would want to; the next week, month, 6 months etc. Really drill down on what you want to achieve out of those time periods. Be very specific. Write down exactly what you want. So say; I want to lose 3.5 kilos in 5 weeks. DON'T say; I want to lose some weight in the next few weeks. See this post of mine for a full goal setting routine to help you out. Day 3) Make a vision board A vision board is a great tool to SEE every day, I used to think that it was a bit 'silly' but now I can't imagine not having one. You'll want to start with a large piece of card (poster size is good). Then start Googling all the images of what you want in life. Remember it doesn't have to be just things you want, it can be something you want to learn, people you want to meet, who you want to be, how you want to look etc. For mine I also put a few motivational quotes on there, places I want to travel to, etc. Now print them out (make sure they are in colour) and stick them to your vision board on your wall right where you will see it all the time. Maybe at your computer, the kitchen, your wardrobe, wherever you think you will need it the most to inspire you. Because that's what it's for; to inspire you. See this post of mine on how to create a vision board to walk you through it. Day 4) Get up early Now getting up early is not everyone's cup of tea. I get that. But until you've experienced the early morning crispness, quietness and freshness, then you are missing out! For those of you that have tried it and just can't do it, just try it for a day. Then 3 days. Then a week. If you don't like it by then and don't find yourself more productive then go back to what you were doing. The most important thing is to find the time where you do the most work and stick to it. Don't forget to get your 6-8 hours sleep to. Day 5) Start exercising consistently (if you don't already) If you are ever feeling bad, down, depressed or confused, I find one of the best things you can do is to go do some exercise. If you don't do any currently then I suggest you start with a morning walk. This gets the blood flowing and increases the 'good feelings' moving your body provides. The key to fitness is consistency. You have to treat it just like showering, eating and breathing; something you do each day. I'm not suggesting you have to do it every day but it's a great habit to get into. You just have to start. Day 6) Get a great eating plan together Part of living a healthy lifestyle is putting great food into your body. But these days with so much fast food, it is getting easier and easier to not eat healthy. I won't go into what you should eat, because we all know what we are supposed to eat, plus it all depends on your body. Certain people can only eat certain things. You just need to find what works for you. But the biggest problem most of us have is not wanting to cook or prepare it. Don't worry, I have the same problem, but there are two ways to fix this... One: Do a mass-cook each week (or month if you have the freezer space), have many plastic containers or zip-lock bags and divide up what you want to eat for the week. This takes a little patience and getting the right amounts and you still have to cook (once a week) but it saves so much time, energy and frustration to have to cook each and every time you want to eat healthy. This is also great because you aren't hunting around for snacks all the time. You know you have the meal prepared so all you have to do is heat it up and eat it. Two: You can buy pre-made meals. There are many companies out there that do this and they have amazing variety. The only downside to this is that it is more expensive. Not hugely, but it's enough to make you think about it if you don't have the budget. But if you really hate cooking and you want a beautiful selection of foods each week, I highly recommend this way. It's more expensive yes, but you get a far wider selection and there is no cooking whatsoever! Day 7) Start a morning ritual My favourite part of the day is my morning ritual! This is what you really need to create if you want to set yourself up for a successful day. Mine changes in small ways each day depending on what I have on but it always has the core focuses; Gratitude, Motivation, Visualising, Health and Stretching. This is something I highly recommend you really focus on setting up for yourself as it is the best way to really wake up happy. For a run through of exactly what I do for my morning routine and how to structure yours, take a look at this blog post of mine. Day 8) Ask yourself these 3 questions When you wake up, what is the first thing you think of? All sorts of questions can enter our minds at this time so it's important to fill it with positivity. I ask myself these 3 questions each morning to really make me appreciate life; Question 1 - “What am I thankful for right now?” Question 2 - “What am I excited about today?” Question 3 - “How can I improve by 1% today?” Be truthful with your answers and really hone down on what you want. This can make you pumped and ready to tackle whatever the day throws at you. Day 9) Start a side project – Idea generation We all have little business ideas or things we'd love to do that is a passion but would also like to make some money from it. The good news is that in this day and age, becoming an entrepreneur has become quicker because we have so many resources and tools at our disposal. So for today I want you to just start small by coming up with ideas for something you'd like to start. Maybe you’d like to have a little online business on the side? (Take the FREE Masterclass HERE to see how I built up my own Amazon publishing business in my spare time). Maybe you want to own an app empire? Maybe you want to train people on how have better relationships? Whatever it is, there are ways to make it happen. You just need to figure out how you want to do it. Keep in mind, it doesn't have to be a passion for you, although it's fine if it is. Just so long as it's something you are interested in and could see yourself working on. So start a list, start jotting ideas down and don't worry just yet about how it is going to happen. (That's coming up later on Day 15). Day 10 Start saving to invest in yourself I've found in my life that when I invest in myself is when I get the best returns. ALWAYS. Too many people focus on possessions, which is fine sometimes, but they don't focus on themselves enough. You don't want to be one of them. So start putting some money aside for learning. Money for books, courses, programs, coaching, whatever it may be, you want to have money available when you need it. You'll need this to help you with your side project from day 9, not to mention for the rest of your life. Day 11) Fill your day with motivation You can never have too much motivation I say! Because it can come and go, it's a great habit to get into to find ways to motivate yourself EVERY SINGLE DAY in some way. Here are my top 5 ways to stay motivated each day: 1 – Watch motivational videos on YouTube each morning 2 – Keep thinking of the end result of what you want 3 – Think of the pain of staying where you are or going backwards 4 – Connect with someone 5 – Go experience something that is a part of the lifestyle you are trying to achieve Make sure to be incorporating some kind of motivation into every day. Treat it like eating, showering and talking, you do it every day so why wouldn't you keep yourself motivated each day? Day 12) Create your 'zen zone' If you want to get things in life done, it helps if you have your own 'zen zone'. A zen zone is where everything in your zone is exactly how you want it and is designed for optimal productivity, motivation, visualisation and relaxation. This could be different for everyone; it could be for where you work, where you relax, where you read a book, where you work out...everyone is different. So find where it is you either spend the most time or where you want to be in your 'zone' and create and design it just how you want it. This way you will always be relaxed, happy and inspired when you enter this area. Day 13) Go out of your comfort zone Part of growing in life is having to go out of your comfort zone. It sounds scary but the funny thing with comfort zones is if you do it once and you see results, it will spur you on to do it more. For me not long ago, a fear of mine was talking in front of the camera for my vlogs. I hated the thought of it but I knew I had to do it. Now I may not be the perfect video host (yet) but the point was I did it and continue to do it and now it has become one of my most favourite ways to get content out! Funny that hey? Now that I enjoy it, I want to get better and better and so the challenges begin... And it will for you to. So try today to do something that maybe instils a little fear in you. Maybe it's talking to a hot girl or talking in front of a camera like me. The point is you give it a try. And guess what? Not once have I ever regretted going out of my comfort zone, it has always had a positive side to it. So get crackin! Day 14) Invest in yourself The time has come to invest in yourself! On day 10 I wanted you to start saving some money to invest in you. Now even though it's only been a few days I know that's not enough time to save (well for a book it is) so just do this as soon as you can. Whatever your goals are at this point, you need to start learning about it; the mindset involved and the 'how to'. You need to surround yourself with what you are trying to achieve. So start buying those books, programs, courses and bootcamps. Now yes there is a lot free information on the internet that you can scour for hours and days on end. But it wasn't until I started spending money on all sorts of learning materials, that I started seeing results. So take that step, you will definitely not regret it. Day 15) Take the first step towards your side project Time to put all that knowledge to use! Well maybe you haven't been able to take that much in yet. But you just need to decide what your first step is towards your project. Maybe you want to start a YouTube channel? Or you want a six pack? Or own an online business? Then today you need to figure out what is the smallest, first step you could take towards that goal? If you wanted to get a six pack then maybe you'd first either buy a book on this, research what foods you need and the exercises you will do and make a list of them. Then you could go buy the food and cook it. Don't rush into like a bull at a gate. Make a plan. You just need to break everything down to minute steps so as not to get overwhelmed by the enormity of your project. Start small and take a step forwards each day. Day 16) Find an accountability partner One of the best ways to keep striving towards a goal is to have someone else on your back all the time. Someone who is going to keep you accountable. This person doesn't even have to have the same goal as you. You can both have differing goals and support each other. DON'T underestimate the power of this. Having someone else with a burning desire like yourself is what you need in times when things aren't going perfectly. Another great way to make this a little more exciting for yourself is to put some 'skin' in the game. What does that mean? That means you need to have something at stake that you could possible lose. Like money, a possession or position. It can be anything. It could be that you even have to face one of your fears or do something embarrassing. Whatever it is, make sure it gives you goosebumps when you think about it. Day 17) Nurture a relationship How often have you gone too long before talking to someone that is a good friend? It happens sometimes when we get 'busy'. But really we create reasons to say we're busy. Think about someone you're friends with but you've lost contact recently. Why not try connecting with them again (if you like them that is of course)? Some people you will drift apart with because they no longer align with your values.....and that's ok. But the people that 'get' you and do align with you, they're the ones you need to cherish and nurture. Get into contact and don't 'wait' for them to contact you. You are an action taker, so you must do it. Day 18) Think abundantly and big Part of living an enriched life is thinking abundantly. That there is abundant happiness and money to go around. That there is abundant resources and places to live. That there is abundant space for all of us to live the lifestyle we want. Never think in a way that you think there is never enough. That there is only room for a few. You need to rid your mind of this notion and banish it from your thoughts. Think big with all your goals. Most people think too small. What happens when you think too small? You get small outcomes. You get small results. Small highs. Think of the world as your oyster and that there is plenty for you and everyone else. Day 19) Take a road trip There is nothing like going on a road trip. The packing of the car, not knowing exactly where you're going, the new places to see... It's one of the easiest things you can do (if you have a car) to get away, recharge the batteries and have some fun. Maybe this weekend you could do just that. Pack the car up , even if it's for just a day trip. Wouldn't you rather spend $50 on fuel and a great memory, than $50 on something that you may end up throwing away anyway? Day 20 Add variety to your life By this stage you may have some sort of a routine happening in your life. Maybe where it gets a little predictable (if you design your life right, it will never be predictable). Well there is always a place in life for variety and randomness. I still believe we all need some semblance of a routine day-to-day but it's great to ruffle that up here and there. Use your imagination and think outside the box. What would really feel random to you today or tomorrow? Something that you don't usually do? Taking a road trip, eating an odd type of food, visiting a festival you never would, talking to someone that scares you... As they say variety is the spice of life. Mix it up a little from time to time. Day 21 Take action Whew, you made it to day 21! Good on you! Maybe you've skipped ahead and not done all the other things? That's ok, every exercise here can mostly be done in any order but the way I've layed them out in, is the best I believe. Since you are now automatically a tribe member of The LifeStyle Compound, you are considered to be an action taker. Someone who knows they want more and needs to get more from their life. Well you my friend, need to now take action. Action is what will get you that six pack, business, hot girlfriend/boyfriend, house, car, holiday, lifestyle or result that you want. Please, take massive action on whatever it is that drives you right now. Whatever you want in your life. Thanks for watching for more valuable contant please subscribe to my channel.
