It's wild how getting interrupted in your day can lead to two different mindsets... 1. Oh that was a nice surprise and I'm glad my day is now different than what it was (like running into a friend you have been missing). and 2. that was not fun. I had my schedule set and now everything is ruined and I'm letting everyone down and now I'm hungry which is making me be mean to everyone, so now I feel bad, which is making me more upset and here I am... Lol I tend to experience that second one more often than the first. But how often is God doing something different than I am? My guess is, pretty often. So if I believe that God has a good plan for me, and I am letting my ruined plans ruin my day, what is it that I am truly trusting in? Am I trusting my own ability to plan? Or for me to experience perfection and life to never interrupt my day because I am worthy of never being interrupted? lol Or do I need to hit pause and say that his ways are above my ways and I need to mould myself into His plans...NOT MOULD HIM INTO MY PLANS. That will preach. lol Just some food for thoughts.
