Powers say an Army helicopter from Fort Campbell has smashed in country Tennessee. It was not quickly clear whether there were any setbacks. Fortification Campbell representative Maj. Allen Hill said in an announcement late Tuesday night that the AH-64D Apache helicopter went down amid "a standard preparing mission" 12 miles south of the base. It slammed around 7 p.m. It was not quickly clear what number of were ready. Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency Director Jerry Buchanan tells The Tennessean the helicopter was found in a waterway base and was ablaze when people on call arrived. Buchanan says he doesn't know whether any one was murdered. He says many crisis laborers are at the site. Stronghold Campbell is situated on the Kentucky-Tennessee outskirt, around 60 miles northwest of Nashville.
