When we watch people make foolish decisions, it’s easy to assume the worst or think less of them. What we don’t understand,

however, is the full reason behind their decisions. They are often viewing life through a skewed perspective,

which will lead to illogical conclusions. If you want to help them succeed in life, don’t judge or attempt to fix them.

Take time to listen. Find out what they believe and why. You may have the opportunity to illuminate truth in the situation—

but even if you don’t, listening is the best way to show you care. Above all, remember President Abraham Lincoln’s words:
