So today we are going to see, how to link your Youtube channel with google ads

So in today's video we are going to see, how to link our Youtube channel with Google ads

But first of all let us see, why this is so important

Because you are using Google ads platform and you wish to run these ads on Youtube so,

first of all you need to link these platforms together

you'd not be able to run ads on a particular video unless you join them

for instance, your client has a video

but no channel

so you need to create his channel first

and then upload the video

mostly people keep that video unlisted, and don't public it

and the reason for keeping it unlisted is to keep the track of the views

mostly videos are unlisted to run an ad

but its not necessory, you can run an ad by making it public too

But your main focus should be to have a channel

and upload that video which you want to promote

and secondly, you have to link that Youtube channel with Google ads account

Now if you see on the screen, simply click here on settings

and then click here on link accounts

as soon as you click on link account, you'll be directed to this detailed page

showing which platform has been linked already

so leave the rest , because our focus is on Youtube only

click here on details

then click here on add channel

Now here you have to search a channel that you want to link

Here, I search my second channel

Now here is my second channel, and i simply clicked here

after selecting a channel, two options are visible 'I own this channel' or ' someone else owns this channel'

now why this options is compulsory?

If you own that channel then simply click on ' I own this channel'

you click here and then on 'go to Youtube' button

then you'll be redirected to your channel and recieve a notification

or you'll recieve an email and then accept it from there

and then your channel will be linked

But suppose you want to promote your client's Youtube channel or his video with your Google ads account

then you can do that too

just click here on 'someone else owns this channel'

then enter the email address of your client

he'll get a notification, after accepting it, his channel will be linked

first of all it's necessory, that channel would be link able

it's not possible promote any video or any channel

Firstly, if you are trying to promote a specific video of channel, then it should be already linked with Google ad account

otherwise you won't be able to promote that video

below terms and conditions are visible

that person will get a notification too

if he accept, then his channel will be added or linked

this is so much beneficial if you link your channel

then afterwards, you can retarget and remarket your audience

but the main purpose and goal is

until your channel is not linked or your client's channel is not linked with Google ads account

then you'll not be able to run ads

you can also unlink your channels from here

suppose you linked your client's channel here and

your work is finished, and you want to unlink

you can do that easily from unlink button

and then your client's channel will be unlinked
