Then, we will continue working on freestyle kicks, especially you will learn how to take a breath while doing kicks. Also, I will show you the best swimming drill to get correct body position in the water.

In swimming, it is crucial to set up technical elements step-by-step. Freestyle is hard swimming stroke. It is challenging for beginners to start swimming correctly. Therefore, first you need to learn to swim on the back.

When you feel comfortable swimming on the back, you can start practicing freestyle swimming. The best drill for setting up freestyle arm stroke is "Catch-up" drill. Try to perform an arm stroke with high elbow and to memorize your feelings.

Breaststroke swimming is also much easier to set up while on the back. First, perform breaststroke kicks and then start swimming double arm stroke on the back.
