In this video dr karthikeyan explains about the smoking and pan chewing gutka chewing habit and origin of complications of smoking such as cancer of various internal organs such as stomach, oesophagus, kidney,urinarybladder and  blood clot and thrombus in brain and heart, hemorrhage in brain with the help of diagram of various organs and its blood supply. Further various reasons for smoking (புகை பிடித்தல் புகையிலை பழக்கம்) such as peer pressure, nicotine addiction, dopamine withdrawal are explained followed by various modalities for stopping smoking  (புகைபிடித்தல் in tamil). Doctor karthikeyan ends the video by explaining about the treatment modalities available for treatment of smoking withdrawal symptoms such as palpitaion, dizziness, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, anxiety, sleeplessness,nausea and depression. The modality of START for smoking cessation is used in this video.
