The hold-up Striker is a position that many great teams have and rely on tremendously. This position is very difficult and requires a certain type of player to fulfill this role. This player needs to be strong, good with their feet, brave and will work extremely hard on the defensive side of the ball. The hold-up striker has a very particular role and in this video, I go over why the hold us striker is important and what roles you must be willing to play.
