Welcome Back to my Channel,
01:28.4
01:33.2
We just saw the Walkaround. Now we will see
01:33.3
01:36.5
the changes in BS6 Mojo.
01:36.6
01:37.3
So, What is B-S-6?
01:37.4
01:40.6
These are norms introduced by the Govt,
01:40.7
01:44.6
inorder to control the pollution levels.
01:44.7
01:48.4
Post combustion- when the air is let out, the polluting contents
01:48.5
01:51.6
can be reduced- with the help of these norms.
01:51.7
01:56.5
From April 2020, the fuel we get get has less sulphur content
01:56.6
02:01.4
compared to BS4 fuel. All this is done for pollution controling.
02:01.5
02:06.3
Now we'll talk about the Bike itself. It has
02:06.4
02:11.2
on both sides, above the small covering below the tank which looks like
02:11.3
02:14.3
the Wolverine's Claw- we get (BS VI) stickers
02:14.4
02:18.8
which is the first indication for most people to identify
02:18.9
02:23.7
BS6 Mojo from BS4- from a first glance.
02:23.8
02:28.6
Another thing we can notice is the Lambda sensor. On BS6 Mojo,
02:28.7
02:30.9
they have repositioned it.
02:31.0
02:35.8
So this is the Lambda sensor in BS4 Mojo
02:35.9
02:39.4
which is non-visible on BS6 Mojo- due to changed position.
02:39.5
02:44.3
With the BS6, the tyres are now MRF Zappers - FOR PEARL BLACK variants
02:45.7
02:49.2
Pirelli Angel CT is still available for other 3 colour variants.
02:49.3
02:54.1
The reason for this have been explained in my previous video.
02:54.2
02:58.3
ie, to bring the ex-showroom price to 1.99L -also considering Kerala Road Tax slabs.
03:00.3
03:03.2
Then we get a 'PRE-CAT' along with existing
03:03.3
03:07.7
catalytic converter so as to improve its efficiency.
03:07.8
03:12.6
Also this Pre-Catalytic converter helps to reduce the pollution levels as well.
03:12.7
03:17.5
Now what I'm saying is not just with BS6 Mojo, but most of the BS6 bikes, which is
03:17.6
03:22.4
from the bend pipe towards the silencer's end, inorder to control pollution
03:22.5
03:27.3
alot of changes are being made- which is present in Mojo just like others.
03:28.5
03:32.2
As said, all for pollution reduction. I don't know
03:32.3
03:37.1
much of its technical details.
03:38.2
03:42.0
Next change is with the Resonator.
03:42.1
03:46.9
Resonator is a part which reduces the engine noise of a vehicle. so that part
03:47.0
03:51.8
is also tweaked and hence the sound is little different as i have shown in the
03:51.9
03:56.7
Mojo BS6 Exhaust note video. If you look at it, you can notice the difference from BS4.
03:56.8
04:01.1
Still, i will now show you a side by side sound test.
04:41.8
04:45.5
It is not because of the Resonator alone that we are seeing this sound difference
04:45.6
04:50.4
But also because of the changes made b/w bend pipe towards silencer
04:50.8
04:55.3
- like addional shells.. Pre-cat, etc
04:55.4
05:00.2
has been introduced in the new variant. So in the end
05:00.3
05:03.6
the bike sounds Little different.
05:03.7
05:08.5
Personally, i liked the sound of BS6 over the BS4 Mojo.
05:08.6
05:13.4
The next change is regarding the ECU. The very
05:13.5
05:16.3
unit itself has been replaced with a new one.
05:16.4
05:21.2
Also the number of electrical relays has gone up when compared with BS4
05:21.9
05:27.5
Be it the headlamps, or several other electric components
05:27.6
05:29.7
- it now has separate Relay.
05:29.8
05:34.6
Another Small change is with the Frame Assembly of the vehicle
05:34.9
05:40.2
because of the new changes and to accomodate new sensors and changed wirings.
05:41.9
05:45.1
A small difference has come with the Air filter Assembly as well.
05:45.2
05:51.4
Because of all these new changes, the Bike's weight has now gone up by 5-6 Kgs.
05:51.5
05:54.9
Like you've seen the bike has just now come to the showroom.
05:55.0
05:59.8
And it was just after uncovering, I took this video. This bike has
05:59.9
06:04.7
been given to us by M Square Motors, Ernakulam- Authorised dealers of Mahindra 2 Wheelers.
06:04.8
06:11.0
We also have a showroom at Aluva, then one at Kozhikode and Trivandrum as well (in Kerala)
06:11.1
06:14.5
The bookings for Mahindra Mojo is already open at all the showrooms.
06:14.6
06:19.4
If you are interested, you may contact using the no.s given in the description box.
06:19.5
06:24.3
As this is a new vechile, we can't ride it on roads without getting registered.
06:24.4
06:29.2
Once the registrations are done, the Test Rides will be open. Only then
06:29.3
06:34.1
we'll be able to make a Ride review.
06:34.2
06:39.0
We should know alot more by riding it. Like it's performance, and changes etc.
06:40.0
06:43.9
Already i have heard from the ones who have ridden it
06:44.0
06:48.8
that the initial pickup (low end torque) has gone up.
06:48.9
06:54.0
Also it is now more smoother and even more refined than the BS4 variant.
06:54.1
06:56.7
which is a great news.
06:56.8
07:01.9
So the changes are all pretty much covered now. What matters is how well it rides
07:02.0
07:07.3
So, once the Test ride gets ready, we'll share more details.
07:07.4
07:11.7
So that's pretty much up with this video.
07:11.8
07:16.2
If you have any doubts, DM me on Instagram.
07:16.3
07:17.9
Thank You..
