This song is about finding love that is unchanging and true. We can have all the love this world has to offer and  yet, there is a part of us that is left unsatisfied. The creation's yearning for it's creators love. When that love is poured into our spirit, it impacts our soul and is manifested in our body through our actions, words and thoughts.

As children we loved our parents unconditionally. But as we grow up, our experiences make us re-evaluate their love for us. Sometimes that ends in hatred and frustration. We go through a similar process with God. When He's correcting us, challenging us or allowing us to go through trials and temptations that will shape us, we get frustrated with Him. Even disillusioned. God can seem more like a childhood fantasy than a reality. But through it all, He is protecting us, comforting us and with us, though we can't see or feel Him. Even before we turn back to Him, He is ready to welcome us with open arms. He is a good God. He is a great Father. He is the embodiment of unconditional love. "While we were yet sinners, Christ came to die For our sins" (Romans 5:8). Though you don't love him, He first chose you.  And His love towards you has never changed.
