We welcome you to our new series/playlist, The New Vrindaban Calendar!

Here we are going to try our best to monthly upload more and more about the New Vrindaban Calendar(also a little about New Vrindaban itself!). We are going to read out the quotes of the particular month and recite the sloka mentioned in there.
As you see, there are translations or parts of translations as the quote for each month. We are going to memorize that specific shloka and then present it in front of you at the end of each month or at any time of the month.

This video is just us telling our story of how we got the calendar, talking about the calendar, why we always have an ISKCON calendar and many more things like that.

आश्चर्यवत्पश्यति कश्चिदेन -
माश्चर्यवद्वदति तथैव चान्यः ।
आश्चर्यवच्च‍ैनमन्यः श‍ृणोति
श्रुत्वाप्येनं वेद न चैव कश्चित् ॥ २९ ॥

āścarya-vat paśyati kaścid enam
āścarya-vad vadati tathaiva cānyaḥ
āścarya-vac cainam anyaḥ śṛṇoti
śrutvāpy enaṁ veda na caiva kaścit

Translation

Some look on the soul as amazing, some describe him as amazing, and some hear of him as amazing, while others, even after hearing about him, cannot understand him at all.

Bg. 4.38

न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते ।
तत्स्वयं योगसंसिद्धः कालेनात्मनि विन्दति ॥ ३८ ॥

na hi jñānena sadṛśaṁ
pavitram iha vidyate
tat svayaṁ yoga-saṁsiddhaḥ
kālenātmani vindati

Translation

In this world, there is nothing so sublime and pure as transcendental knowledge. Such knowledge is the mature fruit of all mysticism. And one who has become accomplished in the practice of devotional service enjoys this knowledge within himself in due course of time.
