"Nayakan Meendum Varan" is a gripping short film, a spinoff of the iconic Tamil classic "Nayakan" (1987). 
The story unfolds with Sakthivelu (Velu), the grandson of the notorious gangster Velu Naicker, and the son of Charumathi. In 1987, at the tender age of 4, Velu is sent to Chennai for his safety under the guardianship of Selva, while Charumathi remains in Mumbai with her husband, DGP Patil. Growing up in Chennai, Velu's life takes a dramatic turn 15 years later when tragedy strikes that DGP Patil is brutally murdered. Charumathi returns to Chennai. Velu is compelled to seek justice for his father's untimely death. The short film "Naayagan Meendum Varan" explores Velu's journey, torn between his family's past and the quest for retribution, delving into themes of revenge, legacy, and the resilience of the human spirit.
