i just kinda sit down and my brain's like "yes i have a song for you today"

and that is why my method sucks because sometimes i'm like

"ok, i need a song. i haven't written a new song in so long"

and my brain's like "not today"

so i'm trying to get better at just writing

i started picking random topics to write about, and just trying to write as much as I can

i wrote a song about the handmaid's tale the other day that's kind of questionable

but i'm just trying to write about things i am exposed to

and then, some of my songs are about personal experiences

but i've been kinda bad at those lately because, as you can imagine,

sitting in quarintine,and only having like one class to go to,

you don't get a lot of human exposure, um, and experiences

and you can only write so many songs about being in quarintine
