Last night’s Board meeting was packed with celebrations.

Outstanding students and teachers from Roth Elementary and Nitsch Elementary were recognized by the Board.

It was evident these amazing students and educators exemplify our promise to purpose vision.

The Klein Oak Color Guard was recognized for their recent National Champion victory at the WGI Scholastic A Class competition.

Congrats to them for their hard work and outstanding performance!

The Tommy Tune recipients were also honored by the Board.

These Klein High thespians have bright futures ahead of them.

The Klein ISD Education Foundation honored the spring grant winners and presented a check to the Board.

Thanks to the Education Foundation for making these teachers’ dreams come to fruition so they can serve our students in new and innovative ways.

Members of the Masonic Lodge #1434 honored Mahaffey teacher Tiffany Keiser with a Mirabeau B. Lamar award...

...for exemplifying the ideals of teaching and encouraging youth to grow to their fullest potential and become a vital part of our society.

Our alumni honorees this month are Donny and Karie Schroeder, 1991 graduates of Klein High School.

Karie presently teaches as Hassler Elementary and Donny is a sales executive and has coached dozens of kids over the years.

We appreciate their support of the district and love they've chose to make Klein ISD their home.

This month’s Stand Up for Texas Public Schools award was presented to Laurie Glaser-Swift, representing McDonald's of Gleannloch Farms.

Not only is Laurie the owner of the McDonald's at Gleannloch Farms and a huge district supporter; she is also a proud Klein ISD graduate.

Finally, the strategic planning team was honored for their work and dedication to creating a viable and inspirational plan.

The Board also approved that strategic plan, which you’ll hear a lot more about in next week’s 90 seconds.
