Our kidneys work as balancing organs in the body.

Our kidneys are the organs that expel out impurities from our body.

These organs balance the level of fluid, sodium, potassium and calcium.

Along with that, these organs also help in eliminating

excess acid and bases. Due to which, the balance of

acid and bases are maintained. When any disease causes loss of

functionality of both the kidneys. The work capacity of the kidneys reduces.

That is known as kidney failure.

Presence of creatinine and urea level in blood helps in determining the functioning level of the kidneys.

Kidneys are capable of

carrying out more than necessary body functions. That's why, when they get any minor damage,

the patient can't identify the condition. But when

the kidneys become damaged to more than 50 percent only then

the level of urea and creatinine in the blood get increased than normal condition.

Does kidney failure take place due to damage of single kidney? No, it's not true.

If one kidney of a healthy person gets damaged then

his other kidney can handle all the necessary functions solely.

And it won't let the body feel the damage of the first kidney. There are two main types of kidney failure

First is Acute kidney failure. In this condition, both the kidneys stop working due to different

factors/disorders for some days. The condition is reversible if

a timely treatment is taken.

Within few time, this kidney disease can be cured with some restrictions and proper medications.

Some patients may need to undergo dialysis for few days but

after that their kidneys start working properly. Another type is Chronic kidney failure.

In chronic kidney failure, the functionality of the kidneys

reduces to 80-90 percent. It is also called end-stage kidney disease.

There is no treatment available for this condition.

Infact, in Allopathy, there is no treatment for chronic kidney disease.

Dialysis is used as a partial alternative of kidneys to help a patient in his survival.

But dialysis is not a permanent solution and after some days
