“Rudeness is the weak man’s imitation of strength.”

Eric Hoffer makes a good point.

Some people are rude to others in an attempt to show dominance or importance.

Their efforts often fall flat, leaving a bad impression or creating offense.

Strength of character comes not when you state your mind without thought,

but when you are patient and respectful of those around you.

Now, when I say patient,

I am referring to much more than simply waiting for a response or waiting for a person to change.

When you’re patient with others,

you have learned how to wait well.

You’re not rude or inconsiderate, but you are kind while waiting.
