In the English language, these words are usually called "Ideophone." *Ono no Imoko: was a Japanese politician and diplomat in the late 6th and early 7th century. *giongo: words that mimic actual sounds. *gitaigo: words that depict non-auditory senses. ------- Easy Languages is an international video project aiming at supporting people worldwide to learn languages through authentic street interviews.
