So we are back after a 3-month break. I can't believe we were gone for a while.

- I know - 3 months! Has it been that long? - Indeed, indeed

So we are back to announce something big...

We are so excited that we are finally sharing this with you guys.

So we have been planning for the last 3 months and we

- can't wait any longer - we can't wait any longer, yes!

Here we go! Here's the reason why we were missing in action for the last 3 months

So Jake, will you do the honors? - Oh no, why me?

Our big surprise is... No, our big announcement is...

We're getting married *laughs*

WE ARE FINALLY GETTING MARRIED!!! WOOOO

Can you guys see how excited he is? - Yeah, I'm excited. Pretty much very excited

Yes, we are so so very excited.

So the reason why we were gone for the last 3 months is because we are planning a wedding

We are getting married very soon. But, let's go back to how it started

So Jake, how did we come up with that situation? - Oh, my turn again *laughs*

Why is it always me? Kidding

So getting married... I guess you guys already know that we've been together for 5 years now, more than 5 years

For some people that might be a long time already

or for some, that's still a short period of time. But the truth is, we've planning already. On my part,

I am so sure that I want to marry Alyssa. - Wow, super sure?

Like super 100% sure. Yes, as in sure.

Honestly, even after graduating college, that was actually the time

that they were moving to the US. So I kept on joking if it's possible to

have at least a civil wedding. But, of course, we know

that we were still young at that time... So we've been in an LDR and the longer

we are apart, I became more certain of marrying her. But, I don't know about Alyssa

*laughs* Yeah, as time passes by I became more confident that

I want to marry her. And then when they visited in 2019

I was already planning to propose, but due to the different circumstances, I had to hold off on it.

Our circumstances are really uncommon

It's not like your typical relationship nor engagement

So through the years, I would constantly ask her if

she wants to get married and she would say yes

but, she would leave me hanging in the end *laughs* - That's not true! - Just kidding!

So there, we have been discussing it for a while. We know we are both certain that we want to get married.

Yeah, back to you! - Yes, thank you so much!

Actually, that's so true, guys. We've been together for 5 years now

LDR for 4 years and it honestly feels longer

Sometimes it feels like we've been together for 8 years or something because it's really hard when you guys are apart.

We have been talking about weddings for the longest time, honestly.

So it's nothing new to us. We started talking about our timeline

around 2018. We were discussing about our ideal age to get married

or our target year. But, at the same time, we had so many questions

The questions for us were not, "Are we getting married?"

Or "Are we going to end up together?"

Because the answer to those questions have always been a YES. Yes, it's you and me until the end.

But, there were harder questions we had to consider since that's not all that matters.

Like, when? How? How are we going to do this if we're long distance?

Where? Where are we going to settle down? But, recently,

just this year, for some reason, everything came to light.

We finally found the answers to all our questions. It was a very long

discussion, years of discussion between me and Jake, and also between the families

Like what they say, when you get married, it's not only the two of you uniting. It's actually

two families uniting and becoming one big family. So we have always been open

with our families. Thankfully, we are both close with our parents and our siblings.

So it was an open discussion ever since. So this year, this year

for some reason, we found all the answers we were looking for. - Yes, 2021

So, there! Here we are, 3 months later...

We are planning a wedding during a pandemic so it's a little bit tricky.

If you guys watched our video before, I think that was a Q&A, and we were asked

when we are getting married, and we did say that we already have a year in mind.

To tell you guys, that was actually 2023. So this is going to be 2 years in advance.

For the supposedly 2023 wedding, we had our guest list ready. We had a list of possible suppliers ready.

I have been following all these suppliers for years! I went a little overboard *laughs*

I guess, we were busy making plans, but life has other plans for us, right? - Yeah

That is it, guys! We just wanted this video to be quick. We know there's so much more to talk about

So probably we will just do another sit down video and we'll be answering your questions.

Yeah, so we are hoping for the best. We have a tentative date already

But, since it is still during a pandemic, we have prepared plan A to plan Z.

We are hoping for the best and we can't wait to share the journey with you guys!

Since this is also a couple's Youtube channel, we will be sharing everything as much as we could with you guys.
