With the new apple event, Apple has announced the new refreshed 24 inch M1 iMac. If you're in the market for a new desktop computer, then this might be a good option for you but let's breakdown if it's the perfect computer for you. With a refreshed design and the new M1 chip, the new iMac has a lot to offer for everyday use and some innovative technology for prosumers and professionals.  Apple is changing the game yet again with a redesign and as a pro photographer, I'm excited to see what the M1 chip brings to the table and I can't wait to see what they do with the M1x chip in future refresh of iMac.

If you're a heavy creative user, then the m1x chip might be worth the wait. Either way the new m1 iMac is a great addition to any creative suite and the colored options make for a bright work space.
