In this diet of yours many things are eliminated whereas many things are fixed.

One such thing you need to take in an adequate amount is fluid.

It means how much fluid is consumed by your body during eating or drinking.

One of the very significant function of the kidneys is to maintain the fluid balance of our body.

In order to do this, kidneys throws out the extra fluid from the body through urine.

But our kidneys cannot perform this function efficiently when they are not working properly.

They cannot dismiss the extra fluid present in our body

due to which all the extra fluid we consume gets accumulated in our body.

This can be a very dangerous complication in kidney disease patients.

Extra fluid accumulated in the body can stuck in your hands, legs, face, lungs, and heart.

If extra fluid get stuck in these places then it can cause heart problems

and it can also affect lungs. It might happen that you get annoyed of these problems.

It means you should take fluid in a limited amount

but still there are some liquid/fluid that you totally have to eliminate from your renal diet.

Firstly, it is dark colored cola. Cold drink is also not good for a healthy person

but you have to be extra cautious when you are a kidney patient.

Dark coloured colas like thumbs up, coke and Pepsi have added sugar and calories along with additive.

It contains phosphorus. You should not consume phosphorus during your kidney disease.

Phosphorus is added in it for the betterment of its taste, life and its color.

The phosphorus present in it can be absorbed quickly by the human body.

Such phosphorus additive does not combine with our body protein and get absorbed by intestine

due to which various complications arises in your body.

Such cold drinks have presence of phosphorus mentioned on it but do not have the exact quantity mentioned.

200 ml of dark colored cold-drink contains 100 mg of phosphorus.

Another such drink that people consume fondly and feel healthy after drinking is milk.

Milk is a very healthy drink admired by everyone from children to elders.

You have to stay away from milk during your kidney disease as it have high amount of phosphorus.

This is why you should not consume milk and milk products during your kidney disease.

This is very dangerous for your health. Another such drink made up of dairy is butter milk or lassi.

This is made up of curd and you are not supposed to consume it with your kidney diet.

If you are thinking about the consumption of curd then take it in its concentrated form.

You are not allowed to drink glass full of butter milk or lassi.

You also don't have to drink piquant drinks like jaljeera (Indian flavored lemonade) or masala soda.

Actually, a lot of preservative and sodium is put in these drinks in order to make it tasty.

The spice that gives it flavor contains sodium. This sodium is not at all healthy for you during kidney disease.

Friends, the more sodium your body will contain the more water it will retain.

You have to be cautious about the amount of sodium in your diet otherwise water will flow out of your body cells.

Some drinks that you can consume normally can turn to be fatal during kidney disease.
