Imagine all of them bringing something from their culture.

Hi, this is Meraki, and welcome back to my channel.

So I did prepare a series dedicated for discussing Zpop Dream Project but it's for another content.

Anyway, I just want to make this one because why not.

So recently due to the current events that's happening in our world, activities of Zpop was suspended.

It's understandable also.

However, it leads us to not totally seeing Zpop Dream Project in a full circle

because supposedly this year, they will have more showcases, more songs

2nd gen will be on training and will also debut. (which I will also discuss in another video)

For now, while waiting, I was thinking, we might as well give predictions or suggestions for their songs in the future.

I'm planning to make multiple videos like this because, Man with Zpop, the possibilities are endless.

In this series, I'm planning to get inspirations from the 7 different countries that we can hopefully incorporate with Zpop

If they pull it off, we can actually see the distinction now with Zpop from other current genres.

So for this video, let's hop on the plane and look for inspirations from Japan.

Jpop is a widely appreciated music from around the world.

It may not be as sounding as Kpop however, Jpop has its own charms and it's form of popularity is not what we are used to.

Despite being what we call as "underrated", the Japanese music industry actually is one of the largest.

I will not discuss why because it's going to be a long video but the the main point is

we can learn something from them that we can apply with Zpop

When talking about songs from Jpop, most people would think of AKB48, Baby Metal, anime openings and other mainstream artists.

What some might not know is that Jpop has wide variations of music.

Although there are a lot of groups, I will just mention this one because they will be our inspiration for today's music video suggestion and prediction.

They are Exile girls or more commonly known as E-girls

Just a quick background with them

The group actually was a collective of 3 different groups which is created and managed by LDH.

These 3 groups are Dream, Happiness and Flower.

I would say that they are quite similar to Zstars because the concept is that in the future

there will be more generations of Zboys and Zgirls.

Although they will be having their own group names they are still collectively known as Zstars.

You can refer that to my previous video and I will link it above.

So although they release and promote songs separately as groups, they also release songs as a collective.

I kinda would also see Zstars heading in that direction.

because although we have the songs Our Galaxy and It's Christmas as their collab songs,

as the family grows bigger it would also be interesting to watch how they would create songs and making the music video.

So first stop, I will try to share some of the snippets of E-girls' music video.

I can't show it fully due to copyright issues. But don't worry I will explain more later.

First music video inspiration would be their song "Go! Go! Let's Go! Here's a snippet from it.

So although this song was out way back in 2016, we can actually draw inspiration from it.

So in this video, the girls are divided into different groups and each would represent a popular culture in their country.

If you're an avid Japanese culture fan, an anime or jpop fan, you are familiar with these popular styles.

However, I will explain it in detail.

In this video, the different themes that were represented were

Gangster, Yakuza, Samurai, High School uniform or cosplay styles which are by the way very popular in Japan, Harajuku style, Gothic Lolita and a lot more.

These are popular aspects that you can find in Japan.

What we can take out from this is that, knowing Zstars are from 7 different countries,

it would be amazing if they could create a song that would showcase styles or popular culture from each of their represented countries

It's like a mixture of showcasing beautiful different cultures in Asia.

I would love to discover, what are the popular culture and styles in India, Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Making a song that can bring each of us together would be something that can define Zpop.

Another music video inspiration is still from the same group and it's called "Strawberry Sadistic" Here's a clip of the video.

So this song also came out in 2016. This song was dedicated to a movie series that was done by LDH including their brother groups.

So basically the story is about the different gangster groups and I watched it before it

it's too long to explain but if you want to check it out the name of the series is High and Low.

I got this video as a reference as well because we all love girl crush concept and we all love badass boys.

Although in this video they are all girls, I would love to see Zgirls in a concept that Zboys might do.

You know the grungy, gangsta concept.

Also, I want Zboys in a concept that although still in a badass concept, I want them in a flare of colors and not just the dark ones.

Strawberry Sadistic, gave me the best of both worlds.

That's why I thought that if we can have the boys and girls in this concept as well, it will totally make a difference for them.

The third inspiration that I also got from this group was their song "Kissing You" that was released in way-back in 2013. Here's the clip for the video.

Egirls also had a trainee system. I think they're called Rabbit and Bunny depending on your level.

So in this video, they showcased all the members singing skills and dancing skills with a dance battle.

They even gave a glimpse and had the trainees participate in the music video.

I would also like Zstars to have that kind of family concept.

Where although some of the future generations may have not yet debuted, we get to see them showcase their talents.

Call it like a marketing strategy to help the new group when they debut.

Also, imagine all the dancers in Zstars battle it out with their dance moves and all the singers belt themselves and harmonize.

PARADISE!
