Title:
Description:
Assuming that planted crop acreage and the weather return to more "normal" conditions in 2020, U.S. crop farmers may increase corn and soybean production this year. In its recently released 2020 U.S. Baseline Outlook, our division's Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute forecasts that greater corn and soybean supplies may lead to lower prices. Watch below as Dr. Patrick Westhoff, FAPRI director, and Dr. Seth Meyer, FAPRI associate director, explain more and highlight how wheat might be an exception to the projected declines in commodity crop prices.
