Description:
Frustrated that Adobe Premiere Pro doesn't have a 'Ripple Delete All' option? Well, there's a neat little trick that you can use to do just that! A lot of editing tools have a 'ripple edit' mode. Any gap that you create by deleting sections of your video clips are automatically collapsed to retain a seamless sequence of video. Adobe Premiere Pro does not have a ripple edit mode and there is no way to automatically delete the gaps created by cutting up your clips. Ideally, you'd use the advanced editing tools that I covered in my last Premiere Pro tutorial to avoid ending up with a sequence that contains a lot of gaps to begin with. However, sometimes it just happens. And then what? In this tutorial I will show you how to use a little trick I found online (thank you to whoever came up with it!) to essentially perform a 'Ripple Delete All' action in Premiere Pro and delete any number of gaps in one hit!
