We are pleased to show a video shot by a Syrian director on behalf of Syrian Government . This video has been released during the two conferences held by the Alliance for Peace and Freedom in Italy on the 23rd in Venice and on the 24th in Milan. The title of this conferences was ' SYRIA: A WAR TO TERROR"

The first conference took place at the Amadeus Hotel in Venice, where participants could listen the
speech made by:

-Nabil Al Malazi (Chairman of Syrian Club in Poland) focused on the development of ISIS'
terrorist activity in Syria, drawing attention to the origin countries of the so called “foreign
fighters” and their sponsors. Malazi's speech has been supported by the video documentary that you are watching above made by a Syrian director;

-Nick Griffin (Alliance for Peace and Freedom) pointed out the cruel and unfair economic
sanctions to Syria, that will cause many deaths among the local population if they won't be
lifted soon. Then he highlighted the risks related to the mass immigration in Europe,
especially in Italy that seems to be the main next target of the extremist groups;

-Roberto Fiore (Chairman of Alliance for Peace and Freedom) has been talking about the two
fact finding missions of APF in Syria, which took place in 2014 and 2015. He sharpened the
lack of a clear foreign policy by the Italian government, which should take a strong position
against Erdogan for supporting ISIS, even if Turkey is formally allied as NATO member.

The following day those above were having the same conference at Hotel Galileo in Milan joined by
two more politicians and a famous war reporter:

-Gian Micalessin (war reporter of Il Giornale) talked about his visits to Syria (the first in 2012)
and showed few short reportages made by himself with interviews of local priests and syrians;

- Mario Mauro (Italian MP and former Defence Ministry) analyzed the situation in the Middle
East, pointing out the urgency of an international organization (UN, EU...) operation in order
to fix the complicated issue of that region and avoid an escalation of war, taking into account
of all countries' interests;

-Maria Teresa Baldini (Counsellor at Lombardia Region) denounce the interference by media of
the informations on Syrian matters and other issues. She highlighted how a true approach by
the media would help to face the nowadays challenges both in foreign and internal policies.
