his creatinine level is high and haemoglobin is decreasing. So can he take

two teaspoons of Horlicks with hot water for breakfast? 'Thank you Mr. Sanjay for asking this question

like you said that your creatinine level is high, so in such condition

decreasing hemoglobin is normal. Creatinine is a waste in the blood

that reduces the count of RBCs. But

in such condition consuming horlicks is not a wise choice. Horlicks or

similar supplements are rich in proteins that can boost the

elevated levels of creatinine. Though, horlicks is rich in iron but because of high protein

components, it is not a good choice to increase hemoglobin. You can substitute

horlicks with fruits and Apple cider vinegar too

thank you again for asking question yet another time. Like you said that you are suffering from kidney disease

In such a case you should get the diagnosis done in right time only

and we will recommend you to get the necessary tests done with the consent of your doctor. Tests like

KFT and Urine test. If the need persists then you may get the eGFR test done too.

After recieving the reports of the tests you can share the reports with us. Our experts will guide you

accordingly. Mr. Pravin if your urine output is 5 to 6 times at night

then it may signify the symptoms of a serious kidney diseases so do not waste more time

What types of salt a kidney patient can consume? by Ms. Aasman valvi

Ms. Aasma it is a brilliant question that you have asked because kidney patients need to watch out their sodium consumption

having high sodium in your food can elevate the problem of kidney disease and

may result in swelling in the body. Today, the type of salt (common salt)

we use is loaded with sodium. Here, you can substitiute common salt with Saindhav namak

Saindhav namak will maintain the flavor of common salt in your food and

will help in dealing with kidney problems. You can get this type of salt at the nearest general store

Is it necessary that the BP will increase during kidney disease or is it a separate disease?

This question is raised by MD. Riyazan khan. So, Mr Riyazan you may know that high blood pressure is

the leading cause of kidney disease. Almost 60% of the patients have suffered

from the problems of high blood pressure before the occurence of kidney disease

and those who were not affected with this,similar complaints can be seen in them

because weak kidneys directly affect the blood circulation in the body.

Though having problems in BP is a problem on its own that arise because of the higher heart pumping rate.

Heart and kidneys both gets effected by the problem of high blood pressure.

who has asked us whether a kidney patient can eat Bhaji made from radish leaves?

It is necessary that a kidney patient should not eat the Bhaji made up of radish leaves

Not only radish leaves but all the leafy vegetables

You should consume in fewer amounts or not at all. because these vegetables are rich in protein and

potassium that put an extra pressure on the functioning of kdineys

You can include their substitutes in your diet

let us talk about your question, if you are not a diabetic then you can eat carrot in limited amounts

but if you are diabetic then

you may have to cut doen carrots from the list. You can choose its substitute

that can be helpful during the treatmnet of CKD and diabetes

such substitutes are bottle gourd, spongue gourd and pumpkin. Let us move forward with the next question

of Mr. Shaikh Salim 'what is kidney biopsy and is it compulsory?

Mr. Salim kidney biopsy is a medical test for kidneys that is recommended

during few diseases. If the doctor has recommeded you this test then

you should get this test done. A smal part of the kidneys' tissue is removed for the

analysis. It is analyzed with the help of microscope

and the identification of stages and disease can be examined.
