Hello everyone, this is the second part of movie where I modify a log spliter to a forging press

Please watch also first part, you can finf link to it in movie description.

next step is to modify command to be used with one hand

To start the press both hydraulic lever and power button must pe pressed

if you don't have experience please don't mess with electric circuits

The capacitor from this box is dangerous if you don't know to handle it

I've chosen to move the button on hydraulic lever for easy access

I've also extend hydraulic lever to make it more easy to reach

An extension was welded using a small sqare tube

It is more accesible now and I hope sturdy enough

I've cut and weld a support for the button

This is how mounted button is looking

Here I'm testing the button and lever movie speed is 5x

And long waited hot test, this is a leaf spring

Speed seem to be good and pressing force decent for small and I hope medium billets
