We take a practical approach to suffering by looking beyond the mind and the body towards a solution that is spiritual and can be discovered through a process of change.

The symptoms of the existential void manifest themselves through depression, anxiety and addiction, and so we use anything from outside of ourselves to try and fix how we feel on the inside.

Drugs, alcohol, prescription medication, food, sex or money. If you have realized that nothing seems to fill this black hole, then you are in the right place. Relief can be found through a journey of internal transformation, but it requires action and there is work to be done. But you are not alone, and we will do this together. There is hope!

There is a sacred part of who we are that gets lost in this world. Our mission is to recover this spark of the divine, and nurture it back to life, by facing the truth and walking forward into the light.

My name is David J Hogben. I have an undergrad degree in psychological counselling and an honors degree in psychology. I am also a professional chef, but my real qualification is being an addict. I spent 9 years in and out of 12 rehabs and so I know what it's like to suffer and I understand what the problem really is.

I am now in my 8th year of recovery because I found a solution that works. If I was still miserable, I would use, but today I feel good, better than ever before. My life has direction and I feel a deep sense of satisfaction. My body is healthy, and my mind is alive because my spirit is awake, and I have discovered a power too bright for the darkness of this world, I am building a connection with God. Life is an adventure, and if you'd like to join me on this journey, I use my experience to explore relevant topics with weekly videos that are interesting, informative and aim to encourage.
