00:03.6
Hi! I apologize for the-
00:06.0
00:07.5
that's rain,
00:09.5
00:12.3
going down the drain pipe outside.
00:14.3
00:19.0
and that was a little bit disappointing because it's supposed to be snowing right now
00:19.1
00:26.1
and in fact it was snowing a little while ago and so what I did
00:26.2
00:32.3
got a wee bit annoyed – I went for a drive, I filmed the snow, and it was beautiful, really was gorgeous.
00:34.5
00:37.3
And then it turned to rain
00:38.6
00:47.1
so I had to come up with a plan to make it turn back to snow. And it's a new year so, there are new
00:47.7
00:57.9
possibilities. You know what I mean? There are new possibilities 2021, and I think that as a species we have to-
00:59.4
01:05.6
we have to advance. We have to or we'll die. We have to figure out
01:07.9
01:08.4
a way
01:11.0
01:12.8
to move forward
01:14.7
01:16.4
and it got me thinking, maybe
01:18.4
01:21.7
the way you move forward is actually
01:22.6
01:31.2
not quite as clear as many of first thought, maybe. And so what happened was:
01:34.6
01:35.7
it was raining
01:39.1
01:42.0
and I was getting hungry.
01:44.8
01:48.9
So I thought I'm gonna fry up some bacon, right, a bit of bacon. Bacon butty,
01:49.7
01:50.6
a little bacon butty.
01:53.1
02:02.7
And not sooner had I taken my first bite, not sooner than I had taken my first bite of the butty,
02:07.5
02:10.7
it started snowing again. Just like that.
02:14.6
02:20.0
Huh, I'd- I mean I can't explain that
02:20.5
02:30.1
and we've come a long way as a species, but that’s not explainig that. Your science and your maths...
02:33.2
02:36.6
Something else is going on. Something else
02:39.2
02:43.2
is out there like another layer of existence
02:44.0
02:47.6
and for me it was made manifest in a bacon butty.
02:50.3
02:55.1
The moment the bacon butty was finished
03:00.2
03:01.5
it started raining again.
03:05.2
03:07.7
You can hear the water in the drain pipe.
03:09.5
03:17.6
So you can't – maybe there’s merit in the old ways, maybe there’s merit, maybe that was just a little sign,
03:18.5
03:24.1
a little taste for the way that things should go in 2021.
03:25.8
03:35.7
I mean, sure, we've got electric cars, sure we've got the mRNA vaccines and all that stuff- that’s good!
03:35.8
03:44.5
Like, I don't deny any of that but who’s to say that some of the old beliefs, some of the
03:45.8
03:47.7
superstitions, some of the
03:50.0
03:52.9
old blood sacrifices and that.
03:54.8
03:57.4
who’s to say they don't work? Maybe,
03:59.9
04:04.3
maybe in order to move forwards we have to look
04:05.8
04:07.2
backwards.
04:09.3
04:16.6
Just a little bit. Go back to a time when- maybe we just...
04:19.5
04:25.5
oh, I'm not- I'm not saying that the witches and the big cauldrons and,
04:27.1
04:30.7
you know, putting in rabbit legs and all that- I'm not saying
04:31.0
04:33.2
we should go back to that,
04:33.3
04:41.4
um, I'm kinda just saying that maybe bringing in a bacon butty made me think twice, you know.
04:42.7
04:46.4
That was a wee sign for the universe saying „Listen to me. Listen“.
04:51.5
04:59.1
Scientist now, mathematicians or astrophysicists and that all play small, they play small to me.
05:00.5
05:04.5
Bet it's all a mystery it's all a mystery that they don't know about.
05:05.9
05:07.0
Or they don´t know how to solve.
05:08.7
05:11.1
They don´t know how to solve all that.
05:11.7
05:17.3
Maybe- maybe one day there will be a scientific breakthrough that tells us
05:18.1
05:19.9
that, if we sacrifice a puppy
05:23.0
05:25.7
it will yield great benefits for mankind.
05:27.9
05:30.0
just because we haven't seen it yet
05:31.9
05:33.7
doesn't mean it won't happen.
05:37.2
05:38.2
That’s what I'm saying.
05:39.6
05:42.3
That's what I'm saying, you should have an open mind.
05:43.2
05:49.0
Open mind to different possibilities, do you know what I mean? Haven an open mind to-
05:50.9
05:53.3
I don't know, maybe you
05:56.3
06:02.1
chant something to the clouds, cutting down a certain tree,
06:05.9
06:09.0
maybe- throw a small animal off a cliff.
06:10.9
06:18.4
And maybe it brings the world a bit more of peace. I mean why, why would you not want to try that?
06:19.1
06:28.2
Just because it hasn't been scientifically proven yet, you know what I mean? It's kind of- um
06:29.9
06:37.9
getting that with the whole thing, so 2021 might be the year, where
06:39.9
06:44.8
all our advances, all our technologies finally allows us to
06:46.9
06:48.8
go backwards.
06:50.6
06:54.1
Maybe we have to go backwards in order to go forwards.
06:56.2
07:04.9
It's a revelation, a big revelation. I know it's a hard truth to swallow,
07:12.4
07:16.1
but it is a truth though nonetheless.
07:19.3
07:25.7
And if I go downstairs now, and I fry up another bacon sandwich, bacon butty,
07:27.9
07:35.1
well, maybe it'll change from rain back to snow again.
07:37.0
07:41.7
Now, I'll have a sore tummy, and I'll get fat but at least I will have snow to play in,
07:42.5
07:47.0
do you know what I mean, I'm willing to make that sacrifice.
07:50.6
07:57.0
Eat too much bacon and.. eat a bunch of bacon and see if-
07:58.2
08:04.5
and maybe we can use this as a test to see
08:05.4
08:12.4
what´s next, and then we can start ramping up the experiments, you know what I mean?
08:16.6
08:18.6
I mean, it's worth a try.
08:20.7
08:21.6
You can't,
08:24.1
08:27.9
you can't stay still, can't just remain stagnant.
08:31.7
08:33.7
And if this test works, then
08:34.2
08:39.0
we can experiment, push it a little bit farther,
08:39.4
08:42.7
a little bit more, move up to,
08:44.1
08:48.7
I don't know – turkey bacon or
08:50.7
08:53.6
maybe I could go and get some sushi.
08:55.8
08:58.1
See if it does anything to the weather,
08:58.5
09:02.3
see if it changes something in the environment.
09:05.0
09:11.4
Maybe it makes this bloody rain go away because I hate the rain, I want snow.
09:14.5
09:24.6
I can't stand the rain and I, and I'm willing to try whatever it takes to get this snow back.
09:26.4
09:30.1
I´m- if I accidently find
09:31.6
09:41.7
a larger, more profound benefit for humanity, if I uncover something for humanity in the process, well,
09:42.4
09:55.3
you can be assured that I will of course use that power to the benefit of all mankind, all humankind,
09:55.7
10:02.6
once I've made the appropriate deals with the licensing agreements and royalties and all of this, so
10:03.9
10:09.6
that's... but I'm willing to do that.
10:10.9
10:12.4
Of course I am.
10:15.6
10:20.9
At the core I am a moral decent human being.
10:23.5
10:34.2
A decent human being who has crossed over just, just a wee bit to the other side, the other side of I don't know what.
10:38.5
10:44.3
But maybe for 2021 and beyond
10:46.8
10:49.1
we can finally get back on the right track.
10:50.1
10:51.1
And sure it might
10:52.8
10:58.6
mean a few million goats and puppies and cats get sacrificed, but
10:58.8
11:00.9
if it benefits, um,
11:02.9
11:07.7
if it benefits us as a species, helps the planet then-
11:08.2
11:12.3
obviously, who- who would be... you know what I mean, who would object at that,
11:12.5
11:14.7
it's – of course we should do that.
11:16.1
11:21.7
So I think we can look forward to a really bright future,
11:23.4
11:31.9
we can. The golden fields full of puppies, I mean, the ones that survive.
11:34.3
11:39.7
Golden fields, beautiful vistas,
11:41.6
11:43.1
rainbows.
11:46.8
11:49.1
Glowing happiness everywhere.
11:50.6
11:52.6
Science and
11:54.1
11:58.1
the old ways marching hand in hand into the future
11:58.9
12:06.0
to create an environment for all humans. And you know what? You know what?
12:07.9
12:14.4
I'd be even willing to let aliens in as well. I would, I would.
12:16.1
12:17.5
The aliens can come along.
12:20.5
12:24.2
Obviously we'd have to come up with some sort of um
12:25.8
12:32.1
an arrangement where I become supreme, like, ruler of whatever
12:32.8
12:37.1
humans, new human-alien cooperative
12:37.2
12:43.6
most people would still retain their freedom, but I mean they'd have certain semblance of,
12:44.6
12:54.6
um, monitored individuality. But I think it'd be pretty benign for the most part. And I can see,
12:56.0
13:00.5
I can see that future already. Golden, beautiful.
13:02.7
13:11.5
No more nuclear weapons I would, I would get rid of them on day one.
13:12.1
13:17.4
Or the first hundred days at least. Certainly within the first year- or five.
13:19.5
13:25.5
And I would get rid of them because presumably our new alien counterparts would have
13:25.9
13:36.6
far more efficient deadly weapons anyway and we would have to find a way to bring those weapons into the fold
13:37.2
13:45.7
for the benefit of all mankind and the surviving goats and puppies.
13:47.4
13:55.0
I'm just a bit of a dreamer, if anything else. I'm just a little bit of a dreamer, you know, and that's...
13:56.0
13:58.9
I'm just rambling. But-
14:00.9
14:04.0
still, does make you wonder.
14:06.0
14:10.5
And maybe if I go and fry up some more bacon, get a wee bacon butty,
14:12.1
14:15.0
a nice sweet bacon butty on the go...
14:16.3
14:19.5
I don't know what's going to happen next, maybe there'll be thunder and lightning, maybe
14:19.9
14:24.1
the skies will open up, and it'll be golden sunshine for all. Or
14:24.5
14:26.2
this bloody rain will stop.
14:27.4
14:31.1
I'm hoping the bloody rain will stop because I hate the rain. I'm hoping
14:33.1
14:39.4
for, like, six feet of snow, so when I'll open the door tomorrow I just want to see a wall of snow.
14:39.8
14:42.5
Why? I don't know, maybe I'm an anarchist.
14:43.2
14:56.4
But let’s just have good vibes, good positive thinking vibes for 2021.
14:58.3
15:01.7
Well, we'll start working on the sacrifices
15:02.7
15:06.6
and I don't see any reason why we can't have those as well as
15:07.5
15:15.4
things like the vaccines, nah? The same time, do it at the same time. Maybe for every five people
15:16.6
15:24.0
we vaccinate with the most advanced technology we sacrifice like, a
15:25.5
15:33.1
cow or something, you know what I mean? Just to see, and then we'll do a study peer review and that.
15:33.2
15:38.8
Peer reviewed study and that, highly scientific and see how,
15:41.0
15:44.2
how all bears fruit, how all works out.
15:45.5
15:47.6
And I think if we
15:47.7
15:58.9
follow, if we follow that logic we can come up with a future for humankind that we can all be proud of.
15:59.8
16:04.3
We can finally get away from all this dysfunction.
16:06.1
16:07.9
Finally get away from it all.
16:13.9
16:17.5
And I for one, I'm looking forward to getting a little bit of blood on my hands.
16:19.2
16:26.5
Just a little bit. And if it comes to past that I do eventually become the,
16:28.0
16:37.2
sort of uh, overlord of everybody and I promise you I'll be good. Mostly good.
16:37.9
16:43.9
And we won't have any more nonsense, that’s for sure.
16:45.5
16:50.5
So anyway I hope you can all look forward to a wonderful 2021 and
16:53.6
16:56.9
I'm gonna go cook up another bacon butty
16:58.3
17:00.9
that will- we'll see what happens.
17:04.6
17:06.7
See what happens.
17:13.0
17:14.4
Happy new year.
