The word conversion or converted is a buzz word

You want a kind to avoid that because if people

in fact people will see us as missionaries and they'll say you're converting

and to us it's almost like well yeah it's good thing we aspire to be converted to the lord

but as Indians see it's a different they're almost get different meaning

and i think as historical there's been some historically some issues with maybe Chirstian churches

paying people to stop beign hindu and to come to church now and giving them sarees

which is kind of indian woman clothing sarees and they must be somewhat expensive so they're giving out sarees

food money and that's called converting and so as for missionary safety is thats the big thing

there be groups usually they're political groups that are very they're tied to fundamentalist religious groups

and so they have concerns about chirstian churches especially missionaries and so i rememeber one time

like you realize that they have simply you learn their symbol pretty quick

and i think the biggest the most obvious one was color orange of a lot of orange and a certain political party

and they would put lotus flower(BJP) i think orange lotus flower so i remember right and that was kind of a symbol

that this was an area that was dominated by this political party

and what they would do is it makes certain mission they make missionaries and it happened to a few in the mission

they signed documents saying i was converting i was paying people to do certain certain and then throw you in jail

because they had the power to do that and so that happened a few mission and never happened to me.
