Let's find out what's in the box

I'm very intrigued to check out the contents of the box,because it sometimes it can contain surprises

Pleasant or unpleasant ones

I like brands that are eco-frendly and try to minimize the usage of paper

Basically inside we find a very plain and basic manual

The packaging is also very simple and straightforward to minimize the use of plastic and therefore diminish the polution

Inside we can find the speaker system itself and a cable featuring one 3.5 mm Jack plug and a USB plug used for powering on the speakers along with a volume rocker

Very simple,there's no need to make things more complicated than they need to be

Now that's a surprise...

The front speaker seems to be quite small,the material used to encase it is made using a plastic material so nothing too fancy here

But if we take a look around the back of the unit we can find a passive radiator or in more popular terms a drone cone

That's pretty much it,noting to fancy,luxurious or out of the ordinary

The speakers will be connected to a CREATIVE LABS sound card so that we can have the best posible experience and sound outcome while testing things like volume,music playback fidfelity etc

I'll be back in a bit with the verdict

After testing them while gaming and listening to a bit of music I have some conclusions

First of all,for their size the speakers packs quite a punch

Measuring the volume output using a DB meter app we saw a peak of 105 decibels and a constant outputof 100 decibels

The sweetspot where the sound is the clearest is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 70-75 % volume

Go any higher than that and the sound gets a bit distorted

The playback fidelity is very reasonable when we're talking about highs and averages,but the lows(base) are very diminished

Even though there's a pasive radiator on the back which in theory would help with the output of the bass you won't get the deep and profound sound that you're expecting

In order to get a better experience and I had to use the speakers facing away from me,that helped a bit with the bass

Even so,it's a small speaker system featuring a cable mounted volume rocker,35mm Jack and USB for supplying power so basically it can be used anywhere

You only need a device with a 3.5 mm Jack output an an external power bank in order to use this system

Bassically it can be used anywhere outside

Compared to a set of default laptop speakers there's a night and day difference

Build quality wise,the plastic is pretty solid and will not creak around the joints like other products of this type

And that's pretty much all there is to it,it's an aceptable speaker system with a adequate volume output but with a disappointing level a bass
