One may think that the perfect environment for growing young trees would include an environment protected from the wind,

but research shows that’s not the case. Strong winds cause trees to put down a deeper root system and ultimately create a stronger tree.

One of the key lessons we can learn from this is that the winds of change and difficulty do not need to be feared.

You can use them as opportunities to deepen your root system. Simply plant your feet in the things you know to be true

and don’t move. Keep wisdom and integrity by your side—and then never give up.
