Maybe I should be a Z-influencer.

Hi guys this is Meraki and welcome back to my channel.

I know it's a little bit late for the Part 2 already

But I got caught up in in a lot of things.

But hey, here we are and let's start.

In my previous video we talked about the company, the management shift and how it could possibly affect Zpop and Zstars in general.

In this series we will be investigating and uncovering things related to Zpop Dream Project.

Of course we are not just talking about the usual things that we commonly know about the it

In this episode we will be diving in more to the company and if you're curious

I'll be showing you some glipmse of how the Singapore office of Divtone looks like.

We will also talk about a certain video that was uploaded by Zpop Dream youtube channel under the unlisted video uploads.

First, we will shortly talk more about Divtone.

So I furthered my research by checking LinkedIn to verify if Divtone is really an existing company.

Gotta be sure!

So for those who are not familiar with LinkedIn, LinkedIn is a social network that focuses on professional networking and career development.

So basically, firms and companies create their accounts so that if someone needs to contact them for business purposes they can be reached out.

So yes, I did check Divtone Group, Divtone Entertainment, Divtone Studios, and Divtone Immersive.

They all have existing account in LinkedIn, and for those who want to check it themselves,

I will put the link of Divtone Group in the description box.

Now, a lot are a bit still skeptic with how Divtone suddenly get to manage Zstars or the Zpop Dream Project.

Unknowingly for others, Divtone which was Cozmic before, was posting already about Zpop.

You can find it in their linkedin account.

They even posted about the release of the second singles for Zboys and Zgirls,

Zstars' India showcase, the It's Christmas release, and they also announced

the new country manager for India. They posted news and events about the Zpop Dream Project.

So to answer those who were asking, no, Divtone is not a new company that will be handling Zstars.

They are a company that is handling them from the beginning. However, before others

get more confused, most of the activities and promotions before were handled by

Zenith Media Contents. Glitsy was and is still handled by Divtone. So that's it.

From my research, I found the following photos of how the Singapore office looks like.

I know it's still says here Cozmic but this was posted before the rebranding.

Here are some photos of what might be the next home of our Zstars.

Anyway, I know for those, this might not be related to uncovering Zpop but I will just shortly address

what I think about ZMC having a new project which is to create a new Girl Group composed of Japanese and Korean members.

Now, this has become an issue because of our lack of understanding on Zpop and how company works.

To shortly explain, Zenith Media Contents, despite being a sublabel of Divtone Group,

they have their own management. They have their own CEO which is Mr. Jun Kang.

Let's make a comparison so everyone can really understand how this goes.

Take, Black Label and YGE for example.

YGE owns Black Label, however, Black Label has it's own CEO which is Teddy Park.

Therefore, Black Label can have their own artists, make their own music, and have their own projects.

Since ZMC will no longer be handling Zstars, it is normal for them to have a new business venture.

Now of course, we will be seeing people who worked with Zstars transfer to this new project because

they are under ZMC or they work for ZMC.

Just like for example, when Somi left JYP, that doesn't mean JYP can't have his people not train a new artist.

Also, Zenith needs to have a new group to manage because they are an existing company and they need to

function or else, they might end up closing the company for lack of profit.

Now you might be asking, they have Zstars before, why the sudden change?

Well you see, because ZMC is a korean label, they need to cater more on the Kpop genre and despite

being influenced with Kpop, Zpop has their own twist and different path to go through.

That's why for me, there was a need to change the management.

This will also lead us the next part of this video.

I think not everyone are very aware that an existing video will definitely change how we see Zpop.

I think when the news of rebranding and company management shift just broke out,

a certain youtube account was commenting about a link.

The link will lead us to an unlisted video that was uploaded by Zpop Dream youtube channel.

Before you go looking for it, I will first tell you what is an unlisted video.

Unlisted videos are private videos that can be viewed by someone other than the creator using the link.

If you don't have the link you can't watch it.

When I saw the video, I was not yet planning to make a youtube channel so I lost the link.

Luckily, when I was scanning through Divtone's group I found the video.

It was posted 5 months ago which means around the time when Zenith was discontinued in handling Zstars.

Why is it important that we know about this video?

Aside from what we discussed from my last video, this will totally enlighten us on what Zpop really is.

Now after watching the video, what do you think?

For those who are still confused if Zpop is Kpop, this video answered it.

They are a fusion of Kpop and English - pop or the western pop.

They also claim to be the first Pan-Asian Kpop Inspired Talents.

Then again, aside from being kpop inspired, what makes them different?

Zpop will not just stop in Asia. As it said here, To Asia and Beyond.

They will be opening more territories.

Not only that, they will also have an evolved genres.

In this video we can see here, Z-hosts, Z-stars, Z-Influencers, Z-pros, Z-idols, Z-news, Z-celebs and Z-Kids

The evolved genres really got me.

If I remember it correctly, some time I think last year,

I found their plan on Zpop - Academy where they're planning to establish schools where they can train,

actors and actresses, hosts, and composers.

What also got me are the words Z-stars and Z-idols. Now currently we have our Zstars. What is Z-idols then?

Will they be the same with Z-stars? What's the difference between the two? Comment down below what you think about it.

I also remembered the message Zpop sent on instagram. They will be having a different plan for Gen 2.

Will they be the Z - idols? Whatever it is, this will surely be something we can anticipate.

Hopefully, when the pandemic is gone and they resume their activities we can see how Zpop really works.

Here are my final thoughts on everything.

If we combine what we learned from my past video on Unconvering Zpop,

we learned there that there is a possibility that Divtone will create a wolrd for us Gen Z.

This would also mean that we need different people to function in it.

That's why they are planning to have evolved genres such as Z-Hosts. I mean, imagine having our own music shows. Our own radio stations.

I mean, since we are called Galaxz, why not call this world UniverZ? Right?

Kidding aside, before you comment, that this is a good concept but will they pull it off,

Divtone has been very open that Zpop Dream Project has a 7 year development plan.

It takes time to establish something as huge as this so we can't expect it to happen within a snap of a finger.

For me what Zpop really needs is support. Support to their projects and plans.

I also think that their will be more groups in the future.

So let's not just limit it to the current Zstars.

Let's support the upcoming people who will be part in the Zpop Dream Project.
