And today we will talk about what types of bread

can kidney patients consume? The work of the kidney is to filter the blood in the body and to

digest the food. Before consuming any bread it is necessary to know

that what type of flour is used in their making. Along with the used material it is mandatory to look for their expiry date

and check it. Make sure that you take only fresh bread. So, let us know that a kidney patient

should eat the bread of which flour and what to avoid. First is whole

grain bread that means the bread made from the whole wheat. This bread has vitamins and minerals

that are necesasry for upkeeping the body. Simulatneously it has fiber

that helps in weight loss. But a kidney patient should not consume this bread.

Second is multigrain bread that has oats, barley, and millet. This bread is nutrients

and fiber-rich. For a healthy person, it is good, but a kidney patient should not consume it.

Third is white bread which is low in phosphate. Too much phosphate can cause bones

problem as well as heart problems. The kidneys are unable to filter phosphate

White bread has low phosphate and so a kidney patient can consume white

bread. But, consult a dietician before intaking it.

Fourth is whole wheat bread. This bread helps in maintaining weight and also in keeping the digestive system

healthy because it has vitamin B, vitamin E, and phosphorus

that is good for mental health and kidney patient. But do not consume it on a regular basis.

Moreover, take the advice of the doctor if you want to eat it. The fifth is brown bread

Brown bread has too much phosphate that your kidneys cannot filter and due to which

the kidneys get pressurized, so a kidney patient should avoid this.

Sixth is gluten-free bread. When gluten is not used in the making of the bread, then

corn starch is used in their production. if a kidney patient has allergy with gluten

then they can consume gluten-free bread but in a limited quantity. Last is wholemeal bread

A kidney patient can consume wholemeal bread. If a bread has phosphate, baking powder,

and wheat germs in excess, then this bread can be harmful to a patient.
