Peanut Energy Bar Recipe Here I have taken 300 grams of roasted and peeled peanuts and 300 grams of jaggery. 1. Heat the peanut in a kadai for 2 minutes. 2. Transfer it to a mixer grinder and pulse it for 1-2 seconds. Since the peanut is bigger ones, following this step. This step is optional. Don't pulse it for more than twice. otherwise it will be powdered. 3. Now add the jaggery and half a tea cup of water into a kadai (preferably non-stick) to melt it. Don't add more water. you will end up wasting time for that extra water to evaporate. add only enough water to melt the jaggery. 4. Check for the right consistency by pouring few drops of the jaggery syrup to a bowl of cold water. If it get mixed into the water, then you need to stir for few more minutes. If the drops are not mixed into the water, it is lying at the bottom of he bowl and when you touch it, it should not stick to your fingers, then the syrup is in the right consistancy. 5. Now add the crushed peanuts into the jaggery syrup and mix well 6. Keep a greased plate ready (or you can use your table top instead of the plate if it is neat and clean) and transfer this peanut jaggery mix into it. Flatten the mix with the spatula. This step needs to be done fast because this mix gets cooler fast and it will be difficult to flatten it once it starts to cool down. 7. after few minutes, mark few lines with a knife to the required size you want. 8.
