Korean Minimalist Cake in a Tub
This aesthetic cake is Trending not only in Korea but also here in the Philippines. The cake is particularly frosted with abstract art buttercream with pastel colors or muted tones. It has minimal accents like flowers, pearls or sprinkles. You can also add a short text or a short phrase as your dedication. A very simple cake but with very pleasing presentation.

In this video we made a no bake cake version so that you can make this cake without an oven. This cake is also budget friendly because of the size. I used Condensed milk Buttercream frosting but you can use any frosting you like. You can  choose different colors you like for your cake as well. If you want dark colors, it's fine. Just smudge or do different strokes to design the cake using the buttercream.

Cake ingredients:

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, sifted
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup hot water

Food color and flavor:(Optional)
1/8 tsp red food color
1/8 tsp strawberry flavor
1/4 tsp violer food color
1/4 tsp ube food color
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/2 tsp instant coffee powder

Fillings:
1 1/4 cups whipped cream
Add flavors:
strawberry flavor
instant coffee powder
cocoa powder
chocolate ganache
ube halaya

Condensed milk buttercream frosting:

1 1/2 cups butter/margarine, softened but still cold and firm to touch
1/2 cup shortening
390g condensed milk, chilled
1 tsp vanilla essence
