"Sukiyaki" ("Ue o muite arukō" [上を向いて歩こう], "Camino mirando arriba") es un tema interpretado por (Kyū Sakamoto, 坂本 九) y lanzado en 1963. Es la única canción interpretada por un japonés cantada en idioma vernáculo que ha tenido un éxito arrollador en Estados Unidos y otras partes del mundo.

El título "Sukiyaki" fue una idea utilizada como estrategia publicitaria porque se necesitaba un nombre que fuera muy pegadizo fuera de Japón. Sukiyaki es un plato de la cocina japonesa.

Lamentablemente, Kyū Sakamoto fue uno de los 520 pasajeros que fallecieron en el accidente del Japan Airlines Flight 123 cerca de Gunma el 12 de agosto de 1985. Tenía 43 años de edad.
