Puto Biñan is a famous rice cake and originated in Biñan Laguna. This rice cake is big and round like a pizza. The ingredients of a classic flavor puto Biñan consist of rice, lebadura, brown sugar, condensed milk, salted egg and cheese. You have to grind the rice to make a puto and you have to ferment some rice to make as a leavener. But now some are using all purpose flour or cake flour to make it more easy and they are using baking powder as a leavener. Today we will make it more tasty by adding milk and ube halaya. The recipe itself is very easy to make and delicious.
