Description:
I thought of taking the #quarantinechallenge just for the sake of people. So, it was the channel that was given by my aunt (massi). This is not the only reason that I am posting the video but almost all of us have tried our hands at #cooking right? From a #PG student to #bachelors living all by themselves, everyone is searching #easybreakfastrecipes in this #lockdown period because of the #COVID19. This #ASMR food recipe will work for you as it is delicious and you can customize it the way you like it. It is a #SouthIndian dish probably. South Indian dishes are generally healthy and even the people suffering from the heart, liver and kidney problems. Still, it would be better to consult your #doctors before having it as your meal for the day. Following are the list of ingredients followed by the full procedure: Ingredients: For #SoojiBalls: 3 cups water 2 cups Sooji/Rava/Semolina 1 tablespoon black pepper 1 tablespoon salt 1-inch ginger (grated) For tempering: 4 tablespoons olive oil/mustard oil/ refined oil 1 tablespoon mustard seeds 1/2 tablespoon peanuts 1/4 tablespoon fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 1/2 tablespoon urad dal (optional) 1/2 tablespoon chana dal (optional) 4 to 5 curry leaves 3 dried red chilies 1/4 tablespoon turmeric 1/4 tablespoon Kashmiri red chili powder 1/4 tablespoon salt 2 tablespoon coriander, finely chopped 2 tablespoon lemon juice 1/4 dried fenugreek leaves Instructions (for balls): Step one: Take a cooking pot (patila) and add water, salt, black pepper and ginger. Step two: Get the water to a rapid boil. Step three: Keeping the flame on low start adding Sooji/Rava/Semolina slowly, stirring continuously. Cover and cook for 3 minutes or until the Sooji/Rava/Semolina turns soft and fluffy. Step four: Cover it and let it rest for 5 minutes. Way One: Step five: After five minutes, knead the dough for another continuous 5 minutes and prepare small balls. Step six: Take steamer and put the prepared balls on its tray. Stem for 10 minutes like you do for #idli and then take the balls out. Way two: Step five: Take a wok (kadhai) add oil to shallow or deep fry the balls. Step six: Add the prepared balls in oil and cook it on medium flame till the color changes to golden brown. For tempering: Step one: Take a wok (I have used the same used for frying balls). Step two: Add oil and let it heat enough so that mustard seeds should pop instantly. Step three: Put mustard seed, fenugreek seeds, peanuts, curry leaves, urad dal, chana dal, and dried red chilies. Step four: Saute for 1 minute and then add salt, red chili, turmeric, coriander powder. Step five: After adding the spices, add 1/2 cup water and stir it till it gets thicken. Step six: add steamed balls or fried balls to the tempering and mix it well to get the even coating of tempering. Step seven (for steamed balls): Cover with lid and let it rest for 2 minutes. Step seven (for fried balls): Mix and add fresh coriander leaves. Step eight (for steamed balls): After two minutes, add coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix it well and serve hot. Your #easy breakfast recipe is ready to eat. Accompany the dish with tamarind sauce or coriander chutney or tomato ketchup to enhance the taste. ' I found #way two way good because I could feel the crunch in balls but if you are someone who likes it soft then you can eat the steamed way. If you liked this video then do give it a thumbs up and share your thoughts on this.
