So, our today’s video is about #Poha made with a #healthytadka. The taste bud of the kidney patients changes drastically, further making it tough for them to eat anything. However, Poha is a nutritional food that they can make at your home with fewer spices, healthy tadka, and kidney-friendly veggies. Ingredients you will need • One bowl of Poha • One small onion • One green chilly (separate the seeds) • Half spoon of turmeric powder • Half spoon of rock salt • Half spoon of cumin seeds • Half cup capsicum (finely chopped) • Half cup cabbage (finely chopped) • Half cup carrot (finely chopped) • Two spoon oil Instructions: • First of all, soak Poha in water and then sieve or separate the water from it. • After that, heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. • Slow down the flame and add chopped onion and green chilly. • Sauté until they turn golden brown and then after mix all the chopped vegetables, capsicum, carrot, and cabbage. • Let the slow be flame so that the vegetables do not get burned. • Add soak Poha, turmeric powder, and salt to the cooked veggies. • Cook it for two minutes and off the flame. Your delicious Poha is ready. But kidney patients should ask their dietician about the quantity of Poha they can eat as anything excess can be harmful to their health.
